The 137th Canadian National Exhibition, known as the CNE, in Toronto runs from August 21 to Labour Day September 7, 2015.

The CNE Toronto highlights include the Bon Voyage! Aerial Acrobatics & Ice Skating Show & Trampoline Act.

On the opening day I enjoyed visiting many new attractions that are featured on the grounds and the majestic buildings. It is a great place for your out-of-town wedding guests to enjoy a traditional Toronto event.

The highlight for me was the Bon Voyage! Aerial Acrobatics & Ice Skating Show & Trampoline Act. Canadian ice dancers and Olympic gold medalists Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir star in a new Acrobatic & Ice Skating Show inside the Ricoh Coliseum twice daily throughout the run of the Fair. The theatrical skating show is complemented by a stunning aerial acrobatic showcase featuring the husband and wife team of Karen Goudreault and Dominic Lacasse.

At the end of this show, a very entertaining talented group of trampoline artists perform jumping in and out of windows and to the top of their stage. Show times 2:00 and 5:00 pm. A must see.

The PC Sky Ride returns to the CNE, extending 40 feet above ground transporting riders across the grounds with breathtaking panoramic views of The Midway, Lake Ontario, and the Toronto skyline. Great for adults and children.

West Coast Lumberjack Shoe is a 45 minute show features lumberjacks who compete stunts including: Axe Throwing, Chainsaw Carving, Underhand Chop, Pole Climbing and Log Burling on water!

Food Truck Frenzy: The Toronto CNE hosts one of Canada’s largest food truck rallies on August 28-August 30. Foodies can rejoice in unique offerings from 23 of Toronto’s trendiest food innovators featuring internationally inspired fare and indulgent treats that have become part of the CNE experience.

The Better Living Centre features a number of attractions for children. Including learning about alpacas from the farmer who talks about the animals and their wool.

Sheep sheering, cows being milked by machine, goats and horses can be seen. Celebrity Butter Sculptures are back in this building featuring iconic stars of film TV and pop culture. And it is where the children can watch the artists at work.

The HollyWoof: The President’s Choice SuperDogs Show in the Enecare Centre, at noon, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm.

The International stage features many acts in the afternoons including folk dancing, the Yate Dance & Acrobatic Team and much more. A large schedule beside the stage lists all the shows during the CNE.

Kids’ World amusement rides just for kids at the west end of the grounds.

Craft Beer Fest: Enjoy a refreshing cold one in the heart of the Food Truck Frenzy featuring 11 regional master craft brewers.
