Toronto car fans of all ages are the first in North America to have had the chance to get up close to an engineering masterpiece. It is the only LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron in the world, and the car made its North American debut at the 2019 Canadian International Auto Show in February.

Made of more than one million elements it took 13,438 hours to construct by a team of 16 specialists. The life-size Chiron does not have a single drop of glue!

Seen from a distance side by side, the resemblance of the two cars is striking. Inside the car it  has every detail of the original car. The duplication creations are by the LEGO technic elements from its seats, the dashboard, to the steering wheel.

“This life-size model is a first of its kind in so many ways. For more than 40 years, LEGO Technic has been allowing builders to use their creativity. It is a way that challenges them to build beyond the design and engineer new functions,” said Lubor Zelinka, Design Manager, LEGO Retail Model Production.

Toronto Auto Show LEGO I Love Cars Experience.

The LEGO I Love Car experience program lets builders create their own dream car. During the auto show you could race it down race ramps, and capture moments with a photo. Then you can share the experience online using #ILoveLEGOCars.

Since the first LEGO wheel came rolling off the production lines in 1962, billions of their race cars, vans, trucks, fantasy vehicles, motorcycles, and buggies have been built around the world. The cars are built for racing, roaring, and adventuring. Or just exploring any place you can imagine. Visit www.LEGO.com.
