The resort offers 170 acres and seven beaches within the Virgin Islands National Park.
Philanthropist Laurance Rockeffer built the romantic getaway in 1956. Rockeffer discovery of Caneel Bay was when he was sailing in the Caribbean. And the resort follows the same eco-friendly focus that has been the guide of the property since 1952.
Now as an independent resort, it welcomes their guests who are returning and first-time guests to the property.

ZoZo’s is set on top of the ruins of an 18th century sugar mill that overlooks the resort. And the beautiful lights of St. Thomas.
As guests, you can find flavors at the Cannella Beach Bar & Grill that is next to the resort’s main reception area.
The café location is near the Caneel Bay Resort gift shop. And that where you can get gelato by local flavors, paninis and coffee.
When you want a spa treatment the Massage Cabanas overlooking the beach are available. Try the Hot Bamboo Massage with the smoothness and strength of warm bamboo. It is a good way to massage your muscles. And the spa has a Hot Seashell Massage. This relaxing treatment uses heated shells with traditional massage techniques. Very cool!
