Fairmont Pacific launches $18,000 proposal video contest.

Proposal video contest Rules of Engagement launch in BC.

The groom’s part – the Proposal.

Vancouver, B.C. hotel in Canada is searching for those ready to take the ‘lover’s leap’.

One of the biggest decisions in life is – will we marry? The quick follow-up by the hopeful groom-to-be thinking ‘how will I propose’?

The hotel is playing cupid to those seeking the next step. They have new proposal packages that will guarantee an I DO for their proposal video contest.

The Rules of Engagement $18,000CDN contest challenges suitors to submit a three-minute (or less) video online by April 1, 2015. The video should share their love story and explain why they deserve to win the contest.

The proposal video contest winning package includes the hotel’s Suite Romance with planning by the hotel’s Proposal Manager. And yes, there is a Proposal Manager. Floral décor by Granville Island Florist. And a photo and video session by Life Studios to capture the “YES” moment.

Three BC industry professionals will decide the most creative story. Real Weddings Editor Kim Mah, CountDown Events planner Soha Lavin, Granville Island Florist, Life Studios and Fairmont’s Wedding & Proposal Manager Kate Francois.

The contest application can be found on the hotel’s Facebook page. And the winning proposal recipient will be announced on the hotel’s YouTube channel after he has popped the question.

The Proposal Planner maps out the path to the big question. The hotel offers three signature packages. They make it easy to make the call, discuss budget and set the date. Then, the  proposal design is done with the Groom-to-be with their partner in mind. All the packages details include personal consultation and customize proposal ideas. Packages or custom proposals can range from $1,000CDN to $12,000CDN.
