Michelle Obama made a rock star entrance at the Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C.
She wore a custom ruby red chiffon and velvet halter-neck gown by Canadian designer Jason Wu. And her accessorizes with the jewel-tone number are Jimmy Choo shoes and a handmade diamond Kimberly McDonald ring. It was the second Inaugural Ball dress that Wu made for the First Lady.
For the first Inaugural Ball on January 20, 2009, the First Lady wore a white and ivory floor-length raw silk chiffon and organza gown. The USD$3,500 dress was embellishments were Swarovski crystals and hand-embroidery rosettes from the top to bottom. It was the first dress the Taiwan-born, Canadian raised, New York designer Jason Wu created for Mrs. Obama. Wu said at the time, that ‘he wanted the dress to look like a sign of hope’.

And once more she stole the show. The gown was a white chiffon off-the-shoulder gown with and a flowing skirt. And her accessorizes are drop earrings and a great soft hair style, as shown above.

The Michelle and Barack Obama wedding was held in the Chicago Trinity United Church of Christ, October 18, 1992.
Michelle wore an off-shoulder sweetheart neckline wedding gown that was popular in the’90s.
And her royal veil has intricate floral applique detailing. Michelle wore an updo hairstyle with pearl earrings. And her bouquet flowers are white gardenias.
