In early spring of 2005 Sylvia Wong fell in love.

She was at the Thien Le fashion show in Toronto. When Wong felt her heart nearly skip a beat.

When she saw the Italian silk organza original Thien Le wedding dress on the runway, she knew it was made to be hers.

The dress has a strapless fitted corset bodice. A flared A-line ball gown skirt. With pink pearl buttons and ruffles gently cascading down the back. All the way to its subtle train. Making Wong feel and look like a true princess.

To personalize the dress Wong asked Le to change the white wedding palette to a unique soft pink. And she also had the dress adorned with sparkling crystals.

Due to a brief conversation with her future brother-in-law about visiting the islands of Hawaii, Wong began to fantasize about a dream wedding held in the tropical paradise.

And especially relevant, Wong had a sister living in Hawaii. As a result, her sister was able to provide a helping hand in choosing rented homes for the bridal party. With a budget of $2000USD a week, she helped the bride to pick out a house with its own small waterfall.

First of all, Wong booked photographer Dianne Reynolds. And due to that, she knew she was on her way to planning her perfect Hawaii Beach wedding.

When Wong first stepped foot on Hawaii the bride-to-be could not believe her eyes. Hawaii was yet even more beautiful than she had possibly imagined.

She and her guests spent the next few days exploring the island. In addition to taking care of the wedding details.

On her big day Wong woke up to a beautiful view that was the backdrop for her breakfast. After a trip to the hair salon she walked down the aisle in a perfect ceremony.

Portrait shots were taken while guests enjoyed cake and champagne. Everybody enjoyed a delectable Hawaiian luau. In addition to a traditional roasted pig with an assortment of meats and salads.

The bride incorporated a tulip anthurium in her bouquet shown right. It is a flower that is only available in Hawaii. Most of all, its flower language is known to have the meaning think of me.

At the reception there was live entertainment in addition to fire-eaters and luau dancers. Therefore only enhancing the already magical and wondrous night.

Wong believes that her wedding was the best way to get married. In conclusion, it proved to be stunning and practically stress-free. Furthermore she did it all within her $20,000 budget.
