The Groom proposal tips before you ask Will You Marry Me are important to know before you talk about the possibility of getting married.

Make sure it is something that you both want, and agree on major issues such as children and religion. Other issues are usually where you want to live, work, and how you want to live your life together.

The proposal itself should still be a surprise and a joyful event. So, find a way to surprise her unless she jumps the gun and asks you first!

Most brides want their proposal to include an engagement ring so first of all try to make sure the engagement ring is the right style. Look at rings together when walking past a store, or bring them up in conversation. Your bride’s mother or best friend may help you choose the ring.

Some brides-to-be want to create or design their own rings. Therefore, go shopping for the right jeweller and then let the process begin.

We have come a long way since women needed their father’s permission. However if she has parents, there is still something respectful about asking for their blessings.

Choose a favorite place. If it is a restaurant don’t hide the ring in food as anything could happen to it. Or a special time or date like Christmas or Valentine’s Day are popular and easy to remember.

It is a personal thing between the two of you. Don’t do it in front of family or friends. It could be as simple as in your living room or on a weekend away. It all depends on your personality.

If you want to be creative with your groom proposal be careful of things that could go wrong. This is a time for romance so you might tell her why you fell in love with her. You may just leave it to four little words “will you marry me?” If she says maybe give her some time to consider the proposal. It is a lifetime together.

PROPOSING ON A CRUISE.
In discussing the all important question of where to propose with travel expert Brian Simpson. His groom proposal tips started by saying there is no such thing as a bad proposal unless they say no.

He recommends you try finding a creative way to propose in a location that is special to you both and to remember. The best proposal is one that represents you as a couple.

There is something about a breathtaking view that stirs the romance in us all. So why not propose at the top of Blackcomb Mountain? At the end of a day of great skiing and celebrate with a bottle of bubbly during après-skai. Or for something more exotic a breathtaking location like Machu Picchu in Peru. It is sure to be remembered.

Simpson added that they don’t call Paris, the City of Romance for nothing. So consider a groom proposal at the foot of the Eiffel Tower or during a stroll along the cobblestone banks of the Seine. But if France is a bit out of reach he suggests that you consider proposing during a romantic ride in a calèche (a 2-wheeled horse-drawn carriage) through the streets of Old Québec.

Most cruise lines can assist with creating a memorable proposal on-board or in one of the ports. Many offer packages to help with the proposal. And to celebrate your engagement including having champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries delivered to the stateroom and rose petals sprinkled on the bed.

Groom proposal tips include happenings in restaurants or during shows. If you are planning a cruise consider popping the question on your balcony while enjoying the sunset. Or while on a romantic stroll on deck under a star-filled sky.

Generally speaking the best romantic cruises for couples are the smaller more intimate ships. They do not cater as much to families with kids. Holland America and Princess offer some smaller ships. Cruise lines such as Azamara, Oceania, Regent Seven Seas and Seabourn offer the best opportunity to get away from crowds and kids.

Smaller more deluxe ships tend to sail to more exotic locales. And can often access ports that some of the larger ships cannot. Larger ships offer romantic experiences in their suites and concierge accommodations. Specialty dining venues and spa facilities making it easy to create a getaway from the crowds.

In the March 2007 World Figure Skating Championships in Tokyo Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo clinched their third world title.

During the end of their performance Zhao knelt on one knee holding Shen’s hands to make his proposal. They had finished their free skate routine in the final amid thunderous applause of the spectators.

A few seconds later a surprised Shen lowered to her knees too. Unfortunately she misunderstood the gesture. And had knelt down in solidarity beside her partner.

His groom proposal was not as successful as Zhao had planned. But the couple still decided to make their relationship public.

After winning the 2007 world championships they stopped competing and took to the show circuit.

The Beijing Star Daily reported that China’s golden duo were married in Beijing on May 28 2008.

On February 15 2010 in Vancouver, Canada during their fourth Olympic Games, Shen and Zhao came back to win the gold medal in pairs skating. It was the only prize that had eluded them in their long careers together. Their Vancouver 2010 routine was created by Canadian choreographer Lori Nichol.
