A RIVER SAFARI IN THE ALBERTA ROCKIES
Teaming up with Columbia River Safari’s (CRS), the Lake Louise Inn has put together an eco-friendly safari which takes guests deep into the heart of the Rocky Mountains for an experience they can only get by floating down one of the greatest waterways on the continent – the Columbia River.

Billed as “North America’s Toughest 10K,” the 2008 Ski to the Clouds at the Great Glen Trails in Pinkham is a true freestyle event. Skiers can use either skating or classic technique, there will not be separate categories for each discipline. Prize money will be given to the fastest male and female competitors and for the fastest male and female over the age of 40. All competitors will receive a medal to mark their accomplishment.
