The Maid of Honor Pippa Middleton (Catherine‘s sister) wore a ivory crepe dress designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen, with a cowl-front and organza-covered buttons running down the back. She wore lily-of-the-valley in her hair, which was styled identically to her sister’s in a demi-chignon. The dress was suitably demure for the occasion.

The four bridesmaids in Catherine's Wedding Party wore gowns designed by British designer Nicki Macfarlane who is an expert and creating exceptional outfits for bridesmaids, flower girls and pageboys.

The bridesmaids in the wedding party included.
• William‘s first cousin on his father’s side, Lady Louise Windsor, 7, the daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
• The Hon. William‘s second cousin, Margarita Armstrong-Jones, 8. She is the daughter of Viscount and Viscountess Linley.
• The granddaughter of Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Eliza Lopes, 3. This little girl is the daughter to Laura, Camilla‘s only daughter from her previous marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles.
• Prince William‘s godchild Grace van Cutsem, 3.

The Pageboys:
• William (Billy) Lowther-Pinkerton, 10, son of Prince William and Prince Harry’s private secretary since 2005, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton.
• Tom Pettifer, Prince William’s 8-year-old godson. He is the son of William’s former nanny Tiggy Legge-Bourke, who took care of William and Henry in the 1990s and she still remains quite close with both men.

On the day of the wedding, all of Kate's bridesmaids and William's pageboys gathered at the Goring Hotel to depart at 10:48 a.m. The wedding party arrived at the church five minutes before the ceremony began at 11:00 a.m. (London time).

As maid of honor, Pippa's responsibilities were to make sure Kate's bridal gown was displayed properly and the young wedding party was kept in line.

The Kiss by the couple on the Palace balcony following their wedding was upstaged by Prince William's goddaughter, bridesmaid Grace van Cutsem, as she blocked her ears and stole the show.  

For their wedding - Prince William wore a Scarlet Irish Royal Guard uniform and Catherine Middleton wore a ivory wedding dress with a 9-ft train designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, a 1936 Cartier tiara lent to her by The Queen and new pear-shaped diamond earrings that were designed by Robinson Pelham, inspired by Middleton‘s new coat of arms.
