A WEDDING ROSARY FROM THE VATICAN LIBRARY COLLECTION
An alternative to a bouquet
When Donald Trump and Slovenian model Melania Knauss were wed last year in Palm Beach, Melania wore a Christian Dior Haute Couture Dress with 13-foot train, weighing 50 pounds, a 15-foot veil, a 15-karat diamond ring, Manolo Blahnik embroidered heels, and carried a family heirloom rosary instead of a bouquet. The Vatican Library Collection has interpreted this concept of a special wedding rosary into its newly introduced seasonal line. It is 24-karat gold plated with crystal accents. Its design features two-sided joined wedding bands signifying marriage on round medallions used as stations between the faceted crystal bead decades. Made under an exclusive license from the Vatican Library itself, the collection comprises exquisitely crafted adaptations of the most intimate of the Library's priceless objets d'art and treasures. The wedding rosary style P6031, retailing for $65 (US), will be available in stores and the company's website in April. Visit www.1928.com, click on Shop by Brand.
