HOW TO RENEW YOUR VOWS
Some couples renew their vows or reaffirm their marriage on their anniversaries or on another special occasion. You can reaffirm your vows simply - just the two of you - or your can recreate your wedding and/or reception on a smaller scale or create a new celebration.

Check where you were married to consider having your reaffirmation at the same place. You might want to use your original vows or write new ones. You will usually buy new outfits for the occasion (or you can wear your original clothes if they still fit!). You can include the same music, readings, vows, or change everything and add your children or anything that is meaningful to you. The renewal celebration is a wonderful time to have a get-together or party. If you are planning an invitation, consider using your favorite wedding photograph or one that includes your family today.

If you are going to have a "reception" at home, and you still have the top of your wedding cake this is the time to show it off. Friends and relatives will probably bring gifts, some will be fun items, others will be to mark the occasion. Don't forget to take pictures and to get those little boxes for your guests to take home a piece of your wedding cake.
