BRIDAL IN ST. CATHARINES

On the corner of St. Paul street and Geneva street in St. Catharines, Weddings Heidi Style is emblazoned across the centre building where hundreds of cars pass each day. And yes, Heidi happens to be Heidi Allen, a frequent wedding planner on Slice Network’s Rich Bride, Poor Bride. Her store offers a wide range of bridal gowns with designers such as Alfred Sung and Allure, one of their top sellers. The shop also offers bridesmaids dresses, and insists that your bridesmaids will want to wear them again and again. Heidi also offers her services as a planner at her store. On her website, weddingsheidistyle.com, four packages are listed from destination weddings which include the cost of Heidi’s airfare and accommodation, to a basic silver package that starts at $1500 to the platinum package that costs between 10-15% of your wedding budget. Weddings Heidi Style is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday from 10-8:30 p.m. and Saturday 10-4:30 p.m. Visit the website or call 905-682-9191 for more information.

LETS YOU VISIT A WEDDING BEFORE DEPOSIT

John Michael’s Banquet and Conference Centre is quite possibly one of Niagara’s best-kept secrets. With hardly any advertising they rely strictly on word of mouth and apparently the word has gotten around. Located on Highway #58 in Thorold, a wedding at John Michael’s can accommodate up to 400 guests. They pride themselves on creating your perfect fairy tale wedding with leaving no detail unnoticed. They will even let you visit the banquet centre during another couple’s wedding to get a feel for the atmosphere before you put down a deposit. Another special feature of John Michael’s is the anti-pasta bar served before the receiving line featuring delectable meats, cheeses, seafood, and even a sushi bar if you ask nicely. And don’t worry! The wedding party can still whet their palates before the guests arrive. Visit the John Michael’s website www.johnmichaels.ca to check out the facilities and then call 905-227-7072 to make your first consultation.
