On the corner of St. Paul street and Geneva street in St. Catharines, Weddings Heidi Style is emblazoned across the centre building where hundreds of cars pass each day. And yes, Heidi happens to be Heidi Allen, a frequent wedding planner on Slice Network’s Rich Bride, Poor Bride. Her store offers a wide range of bridal gowns with designers such as Alfred Sung and Allure, one of their top sellers. The shop also offers bridesmaids dresses, and insists that your bridesmaids will want to wear them again and again. Heidi also offers her services as a planner at her store. On her website, weddingsheidistyle.com, four packages are listed from destination weddings which include the cost of Heidi’s airfare and accommodation, to a basic silver package that starts at $1500 to the platinum package that costs between 10-15% of your wedding budget. John Michael’s Banquet and Conference Centre is quite possibly one of Niagara’s best-kept secrets. Marilee’s Bridal and Special Occasions, located in the heart of Fonthill, is a by-appointment-only go-to for your wedding dress and the needs of your bridal party. Featured on an episode of Rich Bride, Poor Bride, the quaint little shop is staffed by professionals who are experts in the wedding department and who want to help you look perfect for your big day. The Welland Lion’s Club hall located on River Road in Welland was the venue choice for a recent episode of Rich Bride, Poor Bride and was transformed from just an ordinary hall to a Tiffany blue dream. The hall offers many different packages ranging from $72 per person to $120 per person. Each menu begins with an appetizer and finishes with a serving of pizza and fruit at 11 p.m. The price also includes beer, liquor and wine, as well as chair covers. HELICOPTERS
Niagara offers something for everyone when it comes to weddings. With it’s great expanse of wineries, luxury hotels and trademark Niagara Falls, your dream day can be made just that.
