MILEY CYRUS FIRST ROMANCE MOVIE
Opened March 31
Tween queen Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana), right, is starring in her first coming of age movie, The Last Song that was written specifically for her by romance screen writer Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, Dear John).
  Cyrus plays a troubled teen who is forced to spend the summer with her estranged father (Greg Kinnear), a pianist and composer who hopes his gifted daughter will resume her own studies at the keyboard.
  Co-starring in the movie is Liam Hemsworth from Melborne, Australia who has been dating Cyrus since they met while filming the movie last summer. WEDDING PLANNING 101
Our Family Wedding: opened March 12th
America Ferrera (Ugly Betty) and Lance Gross (House of Payne), right, play a couple in Our Family Wedding who are returning to Los Angeles to break the news to their families about their engagement. She's worried her tradition-minded father (Carlos Mencia) won't be pleased with her plans to marry a black man and even more afraid to tell her parents that she's dropped out of law school. TAYLOR & TAYLOR IN ROMANCE MOVIE
Valentine's Day opened February 12th
An all-star ensemble cast is in the Valentine’s Day movie that follows the intertwining storylines of a group of Los Angelinos as they find their way through romance over the course of one Valentine’s Day including Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift, who play athletic teenagers who are deeply in love.
  Julia Roberts plays an on-leave army officer named Kate who is a passenger on a flight from Iraq to Los Angeles when she meets Holden (Bradley Cooper), a gay man whose lover is a closeted football player (Eric Dane). The owner of a florist shop, Reed (Ashton Kutcher) proposes to his girlfriend, Morley (Jessica Alba), while learning his best friend, Julia (Jennifer Garner), has a boyfriend named Harrison (Patrick Dempsey) who turns out to be married. An assistant named Liz (Anne Hathaway) is working at the biggest talent agency in town and is dating the mailroom assistant, Jason (Topher Grace). Julia's mother, Estelle (Shirley MacLaine) is a happy retiree who must reveal an affair from long ago to her husband, Edgar (Hector Elizondo), but for their granddaughter (Emma Roberts) is going to have sex with her boyfriend at her high school, in which Tyler Harrington (Taylor Lautner) and Samantha Kenny (Taylor Swift), right, who also go there are athletic teenagers who are deeply in love. Meanwhile, a publicist named Kara (Jessica Biel) is seemingly alone with no date on Valentine's Day working for her boss Kelvin Briggs (Jamie Foxx) whom she falls in love with working together. Oscar-winning actress Kathy Bates makes an appearance as a "love therapist." Joe Jonas voices the dog of Alba's character Morley.
ROMANCE IN ROME
When in Rome: opened January 29th.
There's a wedding scene, right, in the updated remake of the Three Coins in the Fountain (1954) film that that is a lot of fun. The romantic comedy follows an ambitious New Yorker (Kristen Bell) who is disillusioned with romance, travels to Rome, where she plucks magic coins from a special fountain. The coins attract an assortment of odd suitors, including a sausage merchant, a street magician and an artist. But, when a persistent reporter (Josh Duhamel) throws his hat in the ring, she wonders if his love is the real thing. Film also co-stars Canadian actor Will Arnett.
WHEN GIRLS PROPOSE IN LEAP YEAR
Leap Year: opened January 8th.
According to Irish legend, a man who is proposed to on a leap day must accept. When Anna (Amy Adams) travels to Dublin, Ireland to propose to her boyfriend Jeremy (Adam Scott) on February 29, leap day, while mid-flight to Dublin, there is a storm and they must divert to Cardiff. Anna enlists the help of a surly Irish innkeeper, Declan (Matthew Goode), to make an unexpected cross-country trek across land and water to pull off the perfect proposal in time, and begins to question her intentions with Jeremy when she makes a connection with Declan.
