The Zombie Run 5K run/walk has become a favorite since its creation in 2009. In addition, it is becoming a Halloween tradition in support of the runs’ charity TART Trails.
Several of the runners are in costumes. Such as a bride and groom, ballerinas and baby zombies. And Zombie Jesus has made an appearance!
Check the zombie run website for information at the Right Brain Brewery. Medals are awarded to the top overall male and female runners and age groups. And prizes are for the best costumes.
After the race stick around because the beer will be flowing. Who says you can not drink before noon? Besides you are already dead anyway!

Halloween Horror Nights includes Universal Studios Singapore.
The scream-inducing spectacle Halloween Horror Nights is seasonally at Universal Studios. The Halloween show runs in Orlando, Hollywood and now Singapore. The Singapore show features fake blood, crazed clowns and our worst nightmare mutated zombies that takes to the streets. Universal Orlando has been scaring Halloween travel visitors for over 20 years.

It’s easy to see why Horror Nights wedged out its creepy competition for the Halloween travel award.

George Borrow Hotel.
The brave of heart are welcome at the hotel in Ponterwyd, Ceredigion. Built in the 18th century the hotel was renamed after intrepid traveler George Borrow featured it in his 1854 book Wild Wales. Former 20th century landlady Miss Withers regularly rearranges the furniture and china and uses the keys. She goes so far as to lock the current landlord’s dog in a room!
