Its theme, Cocoa Cabana – is a tribute to Cuban music of the '40s and '50s – from jazz to mambos and cha chas. Grammy Award Nominee and Juno Award Winner Hilario Duran and his 20 piece Latin Jazz Big Band will heat up the stage along with guest performers. The Chocolate Ball will present its signature 150-ft. Chocolate Buffet consisting of everything Chocolate including Cocoa/Chocolate infused foods by some of Toronto’s finest chefs. The Chocolauction will return with chocolate being included in every item being offered up for bid. There will be various chocolate alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, door prizes, raffles, gift bag and take-home boxed samplings of the buffet for a small donation. Last year I wore a cocktail dress by Pat McDonagh, pictured left, with the champagne showgirls surrounding me and had a great time.
