An easy entertaining theme can be woven beautifully and responsibly into the party fabric. From the food and beverage menu to the gift ideas.

Easy entertaining hosting starts by greeting guests with a special cocktail created for the guest of honor or the occasion.

Use your imagination when designing the drink. Pull inspiration from the person or the couple’s wedding theme.

To minimize time make the drinks in advance and serve them from beautiful pitchers.

Bar tools span a variety of price ranges. Other cost include items from cocktail shakers, glassware, citrus juicers to the gourmet garnishes.

Easy Entertaining Tips for Hosting a Cocktail Party.

Designate a bartender who can serve your guests. Keep an eye on how much everyone is drinking.

The Federal Dietary Guidelines define moderate drinking as no more than two drinks per day for men. And one drink per day for women.

Remember alcohol is alcohol. It is important to understand that a standard serving of a 12 oz. beer, 5 oz. wine or 1.5 oz. of 80-proof spirit contains the same amount of alcohol.

Make sure that you provide food to complement your cocktails. Consider food pairings to enhance the flavor of your cocktails.
• Fresh seafood and breads accentuate vodka cocktails.
• Spiced smoked meats and cheeses complement bourbon and scotch whiskey.
• Fruit enhances rum and tequila flavors.

Make available non-alcoholic beverages for guests who do not drink alcohol.

Be sure your guests have a safe way home. Either through a designated driver or a taxi. Have local taxi service numbers available for your guest.
