Backyard wedding for Facebook CEO billionaire

Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced his wedding to long-time girlfriend Priscilla Chan, by posting their wedding photo, above, on his personal Facebook timeline, May 19, 2012, 9:12 EST, fifteen minutes later, 90,147 people had “liked” it.

The couple were married at Zuckerberg's home in the back yard in front of about 100 guests the wire-services are reporting.

Chan wore a laser cut floral gown adorned with matte sequins lined in silk, an illusion jewel neckline and sheer back, with a chapel length train created by Couture designer Claire Pettibone (US$4,700).

The groom wore a dark blue suit, white shirt and blue tie.

People.com reported that Zuckerberg and Chan had been planning the wedding for more than four months, according to a source authorized by the couple.

Zuckerberg designed Chan's simple ruby wedding ring himself.

Guests dined family-style on food from the couple's favorite restaurants, Palo Alto Sol and Fuki Sushi.

For dessert, they had Burdick Chocolate "mice" – whimsical chocolate treats, pictured left, made in the shape of mice – which the couple had on their first date.

It's been a busy week for the couple - the 28-year-old groom took his company public on Friday, and his bride graduated from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, on Monday - which just happened to be Zuckerberg's birthday.

The couple met at Harvard University and had been dating for nine years.

Superstar singer, Neil Diamond, 71, has wed his longtime manager Katie McNeil, 42, in front of family and close friends his rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Diamond announced his engagement on Twitter last September. It's the third marriage for Diamond and the first for McNeil.

Actor Josh Lucas, 40, and his girlfriend Jessica Ciencin Henriquez, a freelance writer, were married quietly at the Conservatory Garden in New York City's Central Park.

The bride wore a long gown with a lace overlay and jeweled heels. The groom wore a blue suit.

The couple are expecting their first child together.

In January Lucas told Jay Leno while appearing on The Tonight Show that he proposed after he had a scary encounter with a mountain lion while filming a movie in Big Sur, Calif.

Lucas is the star of The Firm, a Canadian-American one-hour television drama that is based on the book by John Grisham. He also co-starred with Reese Witherspoon in the 2002 hit romance comedy film Sweet Home Alabama as the redneck husband who refuses to sign the divorce papers.

DICK VAN DYKE & ARLENE SILVER
It was a Leap Day wedding for actor Dick Van Dyke, 86, and his girlfriend, makeup artist, Arlene Silver, 40, who were married on February 29.

The couple met six years ago at the SAG Awards. Van Dyke hired Silver to be his personal makeup artist and the two became friends before falling in love about two years ago.

The well-known actor starred in the films Bye Bye Birdie, Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and in the TV series, The Dick Van Dyke Show, and Diagnosis: Murder.

Van Dyke has four children from his first marriage, which ended in divorce. He later lived with Michelle Triola for more than 30 years, until her death in 2009.

ELIZABETH SMART & MATTHEW GILMOUR
Elizabeth Smart, 24, left, and Matthew Gilmour, 22, were married in Hawaii that was attended only by family.

The couple had planned a summer wedding but due to the media attention when she announced her engagement, they changed their celebration to a secret date and destination.

Smart, who was kidnapped from her home in 2002 at age 14, met Gilmour, of Aberdeen, Scotland, in Paris when both were doing Mormon mission work. Visit People.com.

HILLARY SCOTT & CHRIS TYRRELL
Singer Hillary Scott, 25, and drummer Chris Tyrrell were married in an intimate ceremony in front of friends and family in update New York.

Scott, the lead singer in Lady Antebellum, wore a custom Vera Wang strapless mermaid dress with hand-applied crystal and pearl beading with a mantilla veil with hand-cut Chantilly lace appliqué and white flowers. Tyrrell wore a gray suit by Ermenegildo Zegna with a black shirt and a gray tie.

Steven Curtis Chapman sang for the couple's first dance. Their wedding video is posted on Lady Antebellum's official website.

The couple were engaged on the Fourth of July 2011 in East Tennessee.
