CARLOS SANTANA & CINDY BLACKMAN
MAUI, December 19 ... Carlos Santana, 63, and jazz and rock drummer Cindy Blackman, 51, were married and at the end of their ceremony they released doves, pictured left, "to release our purity and love into the cosmos." The bride wore a custom-made silk dress from the Zurich boutique Zoro for the ceremony. Santana proposed to Blackman during a concert last July.

Guests, included Santana's son from a first marriage, comedian George Lopez and musicians Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter, who performed at the reception.

After honeymooning in Hawaii over the holidays, the guitarist is back to work opening January 5, 2011, at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
HULK HOGAN WEDS
CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla, December 14 ... Hulk Hogan, 57, and his bride Jennifer McDaniel's, 36, ceremony was interrupted by a fight that prompted police to be called. The waterfront wedding behind Hogan's home was interrupted when a photographer tried to take pictures of the couple during the ceremony. A family employee asked the photographer to leave, at which point the photographer allegedly put his forearm to the employee's throat, and a brawl broke out. Since no one wanted to press charges, the wedding continued and no arrests were made, TMZ reports. Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, was divorced from his now ex-wife Linda last year.
NICK SWISHER & JOANNA GARCIA
PALM BEACH, Fla, December 11 . . . New York Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher, 30, and actress Joanna Garcia, 31 (Better with You ABC) were married in front of family and friends. The bride wore an ivory, strapless, drop-waist ball gown and veil by Monique Lhuillier, and the groom wore a tux by Burberry London.

Guests included Garcia's castmates, Cameron Diaz and Swisher's Yankee teammates Alex Rodriguez and Johnny Damon. Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Reba McEntire and Lance Bass also attended. The couple got engaged in May.

NICOLE RICHIE & JOEL MADDEN
BEL AIR, CA - December 11 ... TV personality Nicole Richie and singer Joel Madden (American Wedding) were married at her Dad Lionel Richie's estate in a small wedding in front of their children – Harlow, 2, was the flower girl, while 15-month-old Sparrow was the ring-bearer – under a tent transformed to resemble a French garden.

Nicole got her wish for the things she wanted on the day she married - a dress inspired by Grace Kelly's iconic wedding gown, and a real live elephant for good luck. The bride wore three Marchesa dresses, including one featuring a ball-gown skirt crafted from more than 100 yards of hand-draped silk organza and tulle petals, shown left.

The New York Post says that the bidding went up to $100,000 fee for the photos but a People cover story fell through when Kim Kardashian and Christina Aguilera couldn't attend. However, People did run a small image of Richie and Madden on the December 17th cover, right, with an article inside that includes exclusive photos by Yvette Roman. The fee is said to be going to one of Richie's charities.
KATY PERRY & RUSSELL BRAND
MADRID, Spain, November 7 ... Kathy Perry and Russell Brand, left, who recently wed in India in October, made their first red carpet appearance posing hand-in-hand and showing their matching wedding bands at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

In JAIPUR, India on October 23, pop star Katy Perry and comic/actor Russell Brand, were married in an hour-long Hindu ceremony in front of approximately 80 family and friends at the exotic resort of Aman-I-Khas. Brand told Larry King (Larry King Live CNN, November 19, 2010) that the couple have not sold their wedding photo rights.

Britain's Daily Telegraph and the Toronto Sun reported that their ceremony began the traditional service by worshipping a statue of Lord Ganesh before walking to a specially-designed gazebo where they sat on ornate thrones as a Hindu priest performed the ceremony. Other rituals were observed by Perry and Brand as part of the wedding included walking around a sacred fire seven times while reciting Sanskrit mantras. The couple are believed to have sealed their partnership by tying a special wedding scarf together. The bride wore a sari and a white western gown at her wedding.

DAVID SCHWIMMER & ZOE BUCKMAN
June ... Friends' co-star David Schwimmer, 43, announced that he and his British girlfriend Zoe Buckman, 25, were secretly married in a small private ceremony in early June. The couple met in London in 2007 when Buckman was waitressing part-time at a London West End club and served Schwimmer, who at the time was directing a film in England. Shortly after, Buckman, a photographer, moved to Los Angeles to be with Schwimmer. The couple were engaged in March.
CHAD LOWE & KIM PAINTER
LOS ANGELES, August 29 ... Actor Chad Lowe (Pretty Little Liars) and film producer Kim Painter were married in an oceanside ceremony at Terranea Resort in front of family and friends. Chad's brother Rob Lowe was best man and the couple's 15-month old daughter Mabel served as ring bearer.
ANNA PAQUIN & STEPHEN MOYER
MALIBU, CA , August 21 ... True Blood stars Anna Paquin, 28, and Stephen Moyer, 40, left, were married at a private residence overlooking the ocean. According to US magazine, Paquin wore a Marilyn Monroe-style white halter-neck three-quarter length wedding dress with a 50-carat round-diamond vintage-inspired necklace, pictured, and diamond stud earrings designed by jeweler Neil Lane. She wore platform heels and a neat bun completed her wedding day look. Moyer wore a dark suit.

Guests included True Blood co-star Carrie Preston and her husband Michael Emerson (Lost) as well as Elijah Wood, Paquin's co-star in the upcoming film The Romantics. Many wedding guests reportedly arrived bearing gifts entirely wrapped in purple.

The couple who fell in love while filming True Blood, became engaged in August 2009 on a beach in Hawaii when Moyer proposed with an antique platinum rough-cut diamond ring that he designed with jeweler Cathy Waterman, a friend of the couple's. Waterman also worked with them to design their platinum wedding bands.

This is the first marriage for Paquin; Moyer, a native of London, has two children from previous relationships.
HILARY DUFF & MIKE COMRIE
SANTA BARBARA, CA, August 14 ... Gossip Girl star Hilary Duff and Edmonton Oilers hockey player, Mike Comrie, were married at a 1920s Villa La Quinta estate in a sunset ceremony under an arch of flowers in front of 100 family members and closest friends. Duff's mother, Susan Duff walked her down the aisle. Her sister, Haylie, was her maid-of-honor along with four bridesmaids. Hilary's wedding gown was by Vera Wang.

The newlyweds spent their wedding night at the nearby historic San Ysidro Ranch and left in the morning on a private jet for their honeymoon Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
PERFECT DAY FOR CHELSEA & MARC MEZVINSKY
RHINEBECK, New York, July 31 ... Former U.S. president Bill Clinton walked former first daughter, Chelsea Clinton, 30, down the aisle to marry long time boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky, 32, in a interfaith ceremony at 6 p.m., conducted by Rabbi James Ponet and Reverend William Shillady. (Chelsea is Methodist; Marc is Jewish), at Astor Courts, a 50-acre estate overlooking the Hudson River. Their ceremony included the reading of the poem The Life That I Have, by Leo Marks that reads: The life that I have, Is all that I have, And the life that I have, Is yours.

The bride wore a strapless floor-length ball gown beaded at the waist and designed by Vera Wang and she carried a bouquet of white flowers. The groom wore a black tuxedo, white prayer shawl and yarmulke. A horseshoe of white roses decorated the gazebo where the couple exchanged vows.

Mother of the bride, U.S. secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, wore a plum coloured gown by Oscar de la Renta. Father of the bride wore a dark suit and dark tie.

The bridesmaids wore strapless lavender chiffon gowns also designed by Wang.

For her reception, Chelsea changed into a tulle Grecian-inspired gown with a black ribbon belt and a criss-cross back also designed by Vera Wang.

Jim Valli and his band provided music at the reception (the couple’s good friend Tim Blane and his band played at the rehearsal dinner). The reception was catered by the St. Regis Hotel (the rehearsal dinner by Blue Ribbon Restaurants). La Tulipe Desserts made the gluten-free wedding cake.

The couple invited 500 of their friends to their private family wedding including, actress Mary Steenburgen who had known Chelsea since she was a child, and her husband, actor Ted Danson, former secretary of state Madeleine Albright, and film producer Steven Bing.

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) website shows a "notice to Airmen" that temporary restriction will be placed for a "VIP" (Very Important Person) Movement" ban on flights below 2,000 feet for the area surrounding the estate on the Hudson River where Ms. Clinton is to be married, effective at 3 p.m. local time Saturday and will remain in effect until 3:20 a.m. on Sunday.

Chelsea and Marc met at a conference in 1993. They both attended Stanford University and remained friends. In 2005 they began dating and were engaged November 26, 2009 on American Thanksgiving. They now live in New York, where Mezvinsky works at G3 Capital, a Manhattan hedge fund. Clinton completed her master's degree in public health earlier this year at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.

Mezvinsky is a son of former US Democratic politicians Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky of Pennsylvania and Ed Mezvinsky of Iowa, long-time friends of the Clintons. His parents are divorced.
ALICIA KEYS & SWIZZ BEATZ
FRANCE, Corsica, July 31 ... Grammy-winning R&B singer Alicia Keys and record producer Swizz Beatz were married during an evening ceremony at a resort on the French Mediterranean. Keys wore an ivory silk, Grecian-inspired maternity gown designed by Vera Wang with an elegant headband. She carried a bouquet of purple calla lilies and wore crystal-encrusted flat sandals. The groom wore a Tom Ford tuxedo with a raspberry shirt with an ivory tuxedo jacket, bow tie and brown tuxedo pants.
  Beatz has produced music for Keys and works with other artists including Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani. The couple were engaged in May and are expecting their first baby in November.
BOSTON CELTICS PAUL PIERCE WEDS
NEWPORT COST, CA, July 19 ... As the sun set over the Pacific, Boston Celtics Paul Pierce, 32, and interior designer, Julie Landrum, 27, exchanged vows during their oceanfront ceremony underneath a gazebo surrounded with white orchids, roses and hydrangeas, at The Resort at Pelican Hill. The couples 2-year-old daughter, Prianna, was the flower girl. The bride wore a strapless gown by Canadian designer Ines Di Santo. The groom wore a custom Éléyee tuxedo.

An indoor reception followed the ceremony that featured a jazz quartet and red-themed floral décor designed by Mark's Garden. The menu included the couple's favourite dish Robata-grilled skewers of meat, fish and chicken. The multi-tiered wedding cake included chocolate, red velvet and coconut layers. The couple first dance was to R. Kelly's "You Made Me Love You."

Over 80 Guests guests attended the event including Celtics Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and coach Glenn "Doc" Rivers.
THE OFFICE STAR WEDS
MALIBU, CA, July 3 ... The Office star Jenna Fischer and writer Lee Kirk, left, were married by Fischer's long time friend and host of Survivor, Jeff Probst, who is an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church.
ORLANDO BLOOM WEDS
LOS ANGELES, July ... British actor Orlando Bloom (Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean) and Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr, left, were wed in a quiet ceremony mid-July.

The celebrity couple were engaged in June and announced their wedding through David Jones, an Australian retail chain in Sydney where Kerr models. She and Bloom met in 2006 at a Victoria' Secret lingerie show in New York City that she was modelling in and began dating in 2007
