USHER GETS MARRIED AGAIN
ATLANTA, September 1 ... Oprah Winfrey's pal Gayle King were among the 200 guests who attended Usher and Tameka Foster's second wedding at the luxurious Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, a 16th-century-style French chateau set on 3,500 acres of rolling hills outside Atlanta. The guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner inside the resort's ballroom. Dessert was a five-tiered white chocolate-covered wedding cake with handmade flowers by Napa's Perfect Endings, who recently did Eva Longoria's wedding cake. The civil ceremony between Usher (full name: Usher Raymond), 28, and Foster, 37, was reportedly held in his lawyer's office Aug. 3. The couple are expecting their first child this fall. This is Usher's first marriage, Foster's second.
STEVE MARTIN WEDS
LOS ANGELES, July 28 ... Father of the Bride star Steve Martin, 61, left, and his girlfriend of three years, magazine writer, Anne Stringfield, 35, were married in a surprise ceremony at Martin’s home. Best man was Canadian Lorne Michaels of Saturday Night Live. Among the 75 guests were Tom Hanks, Eugene Levy, Carl Reiner, Ricky Jay, and Diane Keaton who were invited to attend a dinner party. Martin wore his Inspector Clouseau mustache as he is shooting The Pink Panther 2.
MUHAMMAD ALI FATHER OF THE BRIDE
LOS ANGELES, July 21 ... Champion boxer and Dancing With the Stars competitor, Laila Ali, married retired NFL star Curtis Conway. Their guests included Ali's parents, Muhammad Ali and Veronica Porsche Anderson. The quadruple crown super middleweight champion wore a champagne-coloured silk charmeuse strapless mermaid gown by Amy Michelson (www.amymichelson.com), that had structure in the bodice. It is the second marriage for Ali, she was married to boxing promoter Yahya McClain.
UGLY BETTY & CROSSING JORDAN STARS
<0LOS ANGELES, July 14 ... Actors Rebecca Romijn (Ugly Betty) and Jerry O'Connell (Crossing Jordan), left, were married in a western-themed wedding under a big tree decorated with large white flowers at their ranch in Calabasas, a suburb of L.A., in front of approximately 100 guests. The bride wore a white floor-length gown by Ralph Lauren and carried a bouquet of white flowers. The groom wore a summer suit and entered with his brother, actor Charlie O'Connell, followed by the couple's two dogs and a gospel choir singing Foreigner's I Want to Know What Love Is. EVA & TONY WED IN PARIS
PARIS, July 6 & 7 ... Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, left, arriving at City Hall to marry, San Antonio Spurs star, Tony Parker. Longoria, 32, showed up first in a white stretch limo, wearing a short pink Chanel dress by Karl Lagerfeld, with striped black and white straps. She was accompanied by eight ladies in cream, pink and purple dresses. She then changed into a short white silk cocktail dress and matching bolero jacket, right, for the ceremony. Parker, 25, who was born in Belgium and grew up playing basketball in France, arrived in a gray minivan, wearing a dark suit. French law requires couples who marry to make their vows official at a city hall, even if they have a church wedding as well.
   On Saturday, July 7, 2007, the couple were married in front of about 250 guests in a religious ceremony at the historic Church of Saint Germain l'Auxerrois,located in the 1st Arrondissement opposite the Louvre museum. Longoria wore a $75,000 couture Angel Sanchez mermaid gown, made of silk wool, with silk gazar metallic embroidery, a scoop back and a long train. Their reception was held at Vaux-le-Vicomte, a 17th century chateau 34 miles southeast of Paris. Guests included Longoria's costars as well as Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jamie Foxx and Lionel Richie. The couple honeymooned in the Caribbean islands of Turks and Caicos.
TONY BENNETT WEDS
NEW YORK CITY: On June 21, Tony Bennett, who turned 80 this year, married his girlfriend of 20 years, teacher Susan Crow, 47, in a private ceremony. Former New York Governor Mario Cuomo and his wife Matilda (Cuomo) were their witnesses. The newlyweds honeymooned in Italy.

ROD STEWART & PENNY LANCASTER
ITALY: On June 16th, it was a small family wedding for rock star Rod Stewart, 62, and model Penny Lancaster, 36, who were married in a civil ceremony at the 17th century Villa Durazzo in the town of Santa Margheritai. The bride wore a short, white satin dress and white high-heeled shoes. The groom wore a white jacket and blue pin-striped trousers. Stewart is said to have given his bride a large white diamond ring. Lancaster's parents were their witnesses.
  After the ceremony, the newlyweds went out into the villa's landscaped gardens to pose for privately hired photographers. From the villa they walked to a nearby restaurant to see their 19-month-old son, Alastair, before walking to the harbour to board a small boat that took them to Stewart's luxury 50-metre yacht The Lady Ann Magee that was decorated with red balloons.
  The couple's post-wedding party included an outdoor dinner at the monastery La Cervara. Upon arrival the couple were greeted by bagpipe players in kilts. For their party, Stewart wore a light-blue linen suit, and Lancaster wore a shimmering white cocktail dress.
  Stewart and Lancaster have been together since 1998. This is Stewart's third marriage. He has five other children from his previous relationships.
UGLY BETTY STAR WEDS
PUERTO RICO: On June 9, in Rincón, eighty-five guests attended the wedding of actress Ana Ortiz, and musician Noah Lebenzon. The bride wore a white lace Monique Lhuillier gown, and the groom wore a gray Prada suit at the afternoon ceremony in the veranda of the Horned Dorset Primavera. Guests included Ugly Betty cast members America Ferrera, Ashley Jensen and Mark Indelicato. Ana plays Ferrera's older sister on the hit series. Noah is a guitarist for the rock group Everything Is Energy.
AMY WINEHOUSE WEDS IN MIAMI
FLORIDA: On May 18, English singer Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil were married in a private ceremony. Her album Back to Black hit No. 14 on the Billboard.

NEVE CAMPBELL & JOHN LIGHT
CALIFORIA: On May 5, Canadian actress Neve Campbell (Scream) and British actor John Light were married in a ceremony in  Malibu. Campbell, who was born in Guelph,  Ontario, met Light on the set of the 2001 movie Investigating Sex.
BOLLYWOOD STARS WED
INDIA: In April, Bollywood star and a former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai, and her co-star in several films, actor Abhishek Bachchan, left, were married in at Bachchan's Juhu residence Pratiksha in Mumbai. Abhishek arrived astride a horse, right, wearing an off-white sherwani and a white turban bedecked with flowers. Aishwarya arrived in a silver Mercedes decorated with flowers along with her mother and brother. The bride wore a traditional hand-embroidered sari with intricate gold work. Designer Neeta Lulla said she created the sari and a red-and-gold embroidered flowing skirt and cropped blouse Rai wore at her mehendi ceremony.
LIZ HURLEY'S WEDDINGS
ENGLAND: March 3 ... As featured on the covers of London’s HELLO! magazine, actress Elizabeth Hurley wore a traditional white Versace chiffon gown with a Chopard diamond tiara and carried a bouquet of Lily of the Valley at her civil ceremony wedding to businessman Arun Navar in the Sudeley Castle, Gloucestershire, England. Guests included actor Hugh Grant, Elton John, Prince Pavlos of Greece and his wife Marie-Chantal, designers Tom Ford and Valentino, supermodels Eva Herzigova and Kate Moss, and billionaire Flavio Briatore.
  Guests then accompanied the couple to India for six days of traditional wedding festivities in Mumbai and their traditional Hindu ceremony at the majestic Umaid Bhawan palace in Jodphur where Elizabeth wore a pink Versace jewel encrusted sari for her wedding, Arun a white and gold turban and suit, and her four-year-old son Damian is a ivory brocade suit, made to match Arun's outfit. www.hellomagazine.com.
