What the stars wore, Sarah Jessica, Kristen, Cynthia & Kim

Designer outfits for the Sex and the City cast

NEW YORK CITY, May 27, 2008 ... Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristen Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall walked on the pink carpet to the premiere of their movie, Sex and the City at Radio City Music Hall in custom-made outfits that were accessories with diamonds by Fred Leighton.

Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie) wore a silver strapless metallic carpet-sweeper by Nina Ricci. She accessorized with three antiques: a 19th century diamond riviere, a 19th century diamond and pearl fringe and a 19th century gold diamond snake necklace. She also wore diamond pendant earrings at 6.76 carats and 8.66 carats, each as well as a 9-carat diamond solitaire ring.

Kristen Davis (Charlotte) wore a lamé with a gold pleated off-the-shoulder dress made for her by Donna Karan and valued at about $10,000. She wore Christian Louboutin "Very Privé" peep-toe sequined pumps, $995, and a frame clutch, $740, with the designer's signature clasp: a pair of crystal-encrusted stilettos. For jewellery she wore 19th century diamond pendant earrings, a 19th century diamond bracelet, and on her finger, a black Alexandrite and diamond ring that weighed in at a whopping 24 carats.

Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) wore a white silk embroidered dress made for her by Narciso Rodriguez that could easily be a bridal gown.

Kim Cattrall (Samantha) wore a metallic beaded Vivienne Westwood cocktail dress, with a pair of old-mine diamond pendant earrings and a Tahitian pearl and diamond ring from Leighton. Her shoes were by Jimmy Choo.

Celebrities attending the premiere included Sex and the City co-star Chris Noth (Mr. Big) with his girlfriend, Tara Wilson, left, from Windsor, ON, Donald Trump and his wife, and singer Fergie, right, whose song Labels or Love is on the film's soundtrack.

The After Party was held at the Museum of Modern Art. Swarovski provided over a half a million dollars worth of sparkling decor, including 10,000 crystals for the pink carpet and more than 500 crystal heart ornaments to adorn the trees in the garden at MOMA.

WEDDING DRESS AUCTION
LONDON, England, June 10, 2008 ... Jerry Hall's short lace dress by Anthony Price worn at her 1990 wedding to Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger in Bali, Indonesia, 18 years ago, shown right, was auctioned at Sotheby's in aid of homeless charity Emmaus. The British auction house sold the dress to vintage store owner Steven Philip for £2,420 (almost $5,000).
