30 Rock star Katrina Bowden and rocker Ben Jorgensen are engaged. She showed off her new engagement ring, right, when she walked on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, January 29, wearing a strapless champagne gown with floral beaded tulle overlay by Amsale, Stuart Weitzman shoes and a Judith Leiber handbag.

Bowden and Jorgensen both grew up together in New Jersey and have been romantically involved for two years. No wedding date has been announced.

ELIZABETH SMART & MATTHEW GILMOUR
Elizabeth Smart, 24, currently a senior at Brigham Young University, is reported to be engaged to Matthew Gilmour, left, and married on July 1st. With her devotion to the Mormon faith, she will probably be married in a LDS (The Church of Jesus Latter-day Saints) temple.

Gilmour is from Scotland. The two apparently met while Smart was serving an LDS mission in France last year. The family has not released Smart's fiancé, however, The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting that wedding registries online at Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn list a July 1 wedding date for an Elizabeth Smart and Matthew Gilmour in Utah.

Smart has become increasingly visible as an advocate for crime victims following her nine-month kidnapping ordeal at the hands of Brian David Mitchell in 2002 and 2003. She is a national advocate for the radKIDS [Resist Aggression Defensively] program that teaches children in elementary schools about calling 911 and making defensive moves against attackers.

HALLE BERRY & OLIVIER MARTINEZ
Over the Christmas holidays, Oscar-winning actress, Halle Berry, 45, was engaged to French actor, Olivier Martinez, 46, left, who proposed with a diamond and emerald engagement ring by jewelry designer Gurhan.

No wedding date has been announced. The couple met in 2010, when Martinez co-starred with Berry in the film Dark Tide.

It will be the third marriage for Berry who was married baseball player David Justice in the early 1990s, and to singer Eric Benét in the early 2000s.

She has a young daughter, with ex-boyfriend Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.

ARETHA FRANKLIN & WILLIE WILKERSON - engagement called off
On January 3rd, Aretha Franklin and her long-time friend William "Willie" Wilkerson, left, announced they were engaged over the 2011 holidays.

On January 23, Franklin announced a change of plans in a media release that read in part: "Regretfully, To Our Friends and Supporters: There will be no wedding at this time." The statement was signed "Aretha and Will."

LeBRON JAMES & SAVANNAH BRINSON
The $16 million Miami Heat star, LeBron James, 27, proposed to Savannah Brinson, left, with a pear-shaped diamond flanked by two glimmering baguettes, at a New Year's Eve dinner and party at the Shelborne Hotel in South Beach, Miami.
The couple have two young sons who were also at the dinner with sixty-guests including Heat star Chris Bosh and Queen Latifah. No wedding date was announced.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE & JESSICA BIEL
In late December, while on a holiday in the mountains of Jackson, Justin Timberlake, 30, proposed to Jessica Biel, 29. The couple have been romantically involved for over four years except for a brief three-month split in 2011. No wedding date was announced.

DREW BARRYMORE & WILL KOPELMAN
Drew Barrymore and her boyfriend Will Kopelman, left, were engaged while vacationing over the Holidays. Kopelman, an art consultant, proposed with a colorless, just under 4 carats, radiant-cut diamond ring, right, on a diamond-covered band designed, by Graff Diamonds.

It will be the third time marriage for Barrymore, 36. A wedding date hasn't been announced.

On Christmas Day, Michael Jordan and his model girlfriend Cuban-American, Yvette Prieto, left, were engaged on Christmas Day. No wedding date has been set.

It'll be the second marriage for the NBA Haller of Famer. He was divorced in 2006 after 17 years of marriage. In 2007, Forbes Magazine listed his divorce as the costliest in celebrity history with a severance package exceeding $150 million.

Trust the pre-nuptial for Jordan's upcoming marriage will be signed before the wedding date which hasn't been announced.

Country music star Wynonna Judd and drummer Cactus Moser, left, announced their engagement over the holidays. The couple, who currently tour as Wynonna and the Big Noise, have been dating since late 2009.

Moser, is a founding member of the country group Highway 101, and toured with Judd in the '80s. This will be the third marriage for Judd. She has a teen-age son and daughter from her first marriage. No wedding date has been set.

While on their Hawaiian Christmas holiday, American Idol judge and Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler, 63, and his girlfriend of five-years, Erin Brady, 38, left, were engaged.

Tyler proposed with a 5-carat, brilliant-cut diamond atop a micro pavé diamond-and-platinum band by jewelry designer Loree Rodkin. No wedding date has been announced. It'll be the third marriage for Tyler.

Soul singer John Legend (Ordinary People) and his girlfriend, supermodel Chrissy Teigen, left, were engaged over the Christmas holidays while vacationing in the Maldives. No wedding date has been set.

American Idol finalist, Danny Gokey, is engaged to marry his girlfriend, Leyicet Peralta, right, in late January. The announcement was posted on the charity website Sophia's Heart, which honors the memory of Gokey's late wife, Sophia, who passed away after a routine heart surgery.

This will be Spears' third marriage, following a 55-hour Las Vegas union to childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004 and a 2½-year marriage to former backup dancer Kevin Federline that ended in 2007. She has two children with Federline.

She and Warne thanked fans for all their congratulations on their Twitter accounts and added a picture of the couple that was taken inside the Old Course Hotel right before the dinner where Warne proposed to her.

While guest co-hosting Live with Regis and Kelly, Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba thought all she had to do was sub for vacationing Kelly Ripa but her boyfriend of about two years, accountant Jesse Sloan, pictured left, showed up – bearing a diamond sparkler and a wedding proposal.

At the top of the show, Inaba had told Regis Philbin and the audience that the stories about her being engaged simply weren't true, though she had mentioned in an interview that she was anticipating a summer wedding. She even bared her naked ring finger before the camera.

But in the closing minutes of the show, as Regis pretended to answer a viewer's question on how best to propose to his girlfriend. The lights dimmed, live violinists appeared – and so did Sloan, who told Inaba she is his inspiration, she's beautiful, she's wonderful. "Will you marry me?" he asked.

"Yes," said Inaba, wiping away a tear, "I will marry you." She later said, waving a finger, "You tricked me!" Inaba, 43, kissed her fiancé and hugged Philbin when Sloan, 39, presented her with a 2½-carat, D-color, princess-cut diamond solitaire ring in platinum from Rafinity. Hidden inside the ring were the bride and groom's birthstones, a Rafinity signature detail.
