In 2009, there were 151,940 marriages in Canada, of which 65,293 were in Ontario, followed by 23,350 in Quebec, 20,416 in Alberta, and 20,135, in British Columbia. These figures do not include destination weddings who travel with an average from 10-50 guests.
 
The average age of the Canadian Bride is 31.7 and the Groom, 34.3.
